Since being established in October 1974, Premier Plant Hire has supported builders and DIY enthusiasts in South-East London with light building plant machinery and tools.

Over the past 30 years, the company has created a loyal customer base, which is stretching beyond the boundaries of Greater London.

Our depot is situated in East Dulwich, a part of London that is becoming increasingly gentrified. This and the massive investment into buildings and infrastructure in the run up to the Olympic Games 2012 ensures growing demand for hire tools for the foreseeable future.

The crew of Premier Plant Hire - see some key members below - is committed to meet this challenge. Our company has a good reputation amongst its clients, as everyone within our team is entirely focussed on reacting swiftly and aptly to our customers' needs - be that clients who visit our shop or those who prefer our delivery service. Off-hired tools are checked and repaired by our trained, experienced fitters in the company’s own workshop, who also repair tools that belong to clients.

In addition to hiring out, we sell used and new tools, but also "Rope, Soap and Dope" - i.e. gloves, oil, hand cleaner, safety glasses, ear plugs, abrasives, etc.. and display special offers on our website.

Safety and reliability of Premier Plant Hire's tools are warranted by our well trained fitters. They can also repair your own tools at a reasonable cost.

Each device is thoroughly tested before it goes out for hire and we maintain and repair all our kit.

Delivery service is a lot more to our drivers than knowing the roads of London like the back of their hands.
