Falls from height are the biggest single cause of fatal injuries and the second biggest cause of major injuries at work in Great Britain!

New legislation - introduced in 2005 - is designed to promote safe working practice by clearly defining work at height and the employers responsibility for proper risk assessment, product selection, usage, supervision and training.

At Premier Plant Hire we are 100% committed to safety and we stock a huge range of access equipment to prevent you from suffering accidents when working at height.

Hand Arm Vibration Directive

The Physical Agents (Vibration) Directive 2002 has been implemented in July of this year (2005) as the Control of Vibration at Work Regulations 2005. Premier Plant Hire have been working to assist our customers in their understanding and implementation of the new regulations, whilst developing our own
expertise and management of the subject. This includes a vibration purchasing policy, vibration
measurements, supplier liaison and product maintenance and management.

We have been purchasing low/anti vibration equipment for some considerable time now, as part of our procurement strategy.

Premier Plant Hire are members of the Hire Association Europe (HAE).
